Louis XV Longcase Clock
Artist: Arnold De Nève à Maastricht
Beautiful and rare longcase clock finely carved in oak , the mechanism dial signed "Arnold de Nève à Mastricht" .
On the door are amories of a noble family.
The base is in black marble from Theux ( near Liège ; Belgium ) and dated 1762.
A Dutch work ( Maastricht ) from the second half of the 18th century , Louis XV period.
This parquet clock needs to be restored, mainly the black marble base (to be glued back in place) and the mechanism (the mechanism is complete, the pendulum and the two weights are present).
Of the dial, 1 pewter cartouche is missing (to be redone; the model is present).
Excellent quality longcase clock !
Total height = 250 cm
