Rare silver-plated metal lined egg pan, Louis Coignet silversmith, late 19th century.
Decorated with a hen perched on the edge ,into which the turned wooden handle is screwed.
The lining allows passage over the fire.
Made by Parisian silversmith Louis Coignet, inscribed in 1893 and crossed out in 1928.
Diameter: 14 cm.
Very good overall condition, beautiful shine, a few micro-scratches from use that in no way detract from the object's charm.
A rare, funny and useful model, not to be shared!!!
