Bracelet Boucheron 50's Wires Yellow Gold

Artist: Boucheron

Remarkable bracelet signed Boucheron, circa 1950, crafted in 750/°° yellow gold (18 KT, eagle head hallmark), characteristic of the house's creations in the post-war years, when the work of material took precedence over ornament.

Composed of an articulated mesh with an organic, herringbone-ribbed pattern, this jewel is distinguished by a sculptural design evoking a fluid, almost vegetal tangle of lines. Each element catches the light differently, creating a subtle play of reflections and relief that animates the bracelet with the slightest movement. This relief is also rendered by the bracelet's curved, domed shape across its width.

The construction, particularly supple and dense, perfectly hugs the wrist in a second-skin effect, a signature of the great houses of Place Vendôme. Wearability is both present and comfortable, with a sensation of remarkable fluidity despite the richness of the volume.

The invisible integrated clasp, perfectly concealed in the continuity of the pattern, testifies to a high level of craftsmanship and a quest for absolute elegance, without visual disruption. A cleverly designed flap guarantees the absolute security of the clasp once worn, and is easily handled by a slight unhooking ("thumb piece" type) being placed on the side of the bracelet.

This type of creation fully illustrates Boucheron's approach in the 1950s: transforming gold into a living, expressive, almost textile material, where the jewel becomes an element of movement as much as a precious object.

A piece of strong personality, with an assertive presence, emblematic of the golden age of French jewelry.
This bracelet is duly signed and numbered by the jeweler.
