"Clip-on Earrings With Drops Of Old-cut Diamonds Paved In Yellow Gold & Silver"
Pair of earrings in 750/°° yellow gold (18 KT, owl hallmark) and silver, in pendant format with the main drop motifs, each part of which is adorned with old-cut diamonds. On a clip base, three successive motifs crescendo, from a fine diamond, to a square, then a larger pear/drop, in a beautiful complementarity of geometric shapes. These three motifs are articulated together for great mobility which allows the diamonds, set in pavé, to capture the light. The upper part of the earrings is in silver, offering a beautiful contrast highlighting the very lively diamonds... the edges of the setting of the motifs are delicately beaded. Within the drop, the diamonds are mounted in a mixed setting made of grains and closed settings; the latter subtly draw, in the center of each drop, a star. These earrings are evocative of the early century, the Belle Epoque. Their clip system, in yellow gold, was nevertheless brought back later. It allows a comfortable fit, for non-pierced ears. It is possible to combine a rod for a better hold and for pierced ears (to be studied by our workshop). Total weight of diamonds estimated at 2.50 ct Gross weight: 6.40 g Condition: imperceptible micro-scratches on the gold and silver parts, natural inclusions in the diamonds not visible to the naked eye Possibility of payment entirely remotely via the site.
