We present this imposing Asian sculpture, two figures adult, child and a bird certainly a heron. The old man with a large beard holds up a begging bowl and waits for the obolus that might be handed to him.
A very well elaborated 19th century or very early 20th century sculpture. The eyes are made of sulfide. The left eye of the child and the left eye of the heron are missing, but this does not alter the quality.
