Immaculate. Relief In Gilded And Polychromed Wood. 19th Century Andalusian School
Immaculate in attitude of prayer, hands clasped on chest and gaze raised to heaven. Blue coat with reddish-toned interior. She is surrounded by a halo of golden rays and clouds at her feet with cherub heads, beneath which appears the crescent moon.
The frame, also in wood, is decorated with floral motifs on a gilded background, following the chromatic uniformity of the whole.
