The front of the piece features a hand-painted central medallion depicting a lakeside landscape animated by a house and trees, treated in shades of blue and green.

The whole is framed by rich scrolls in relief, enhanced by sustained greens and deep blues, as well as stylized floral motifs.

The reverse is fitted with a hanging system, confirming its mural destination.

This type of bouquetiere was intended to hold a few fresh or dried flowers, while also constituting a decorative element.

The style evokes productions from Delft or certain French manufactures such as Desvres, inspired by Dutch models.
