Very large Arapesh dish in engraved wood collected in the Kubalia region, Prince Alexander Mountains in Papua New Guinea . It is becoming increasingly difficult to find objects from this region. The crouching position of this figure, with arms raised in symmetry with the legs, is typical of this ethnic group. Dish in good condition, sold with a presentation base. Traces of wear and use.
