Wooden case covered with scarlet waxed calfskin and framed with braided gold passementerie.
Leather covered with scarlet waxed calfskin and framed with 10 mm wide gold braid, the brass "4" case (height 50 mm, width32 mm) is stapled to the center.
Scarlet waxed calfskin-wrapped leather band, entirely trimmed with gold half-spherical nails (17 mm in diameter), bordered on each side by gold braid (10 mm wide). Three gold trimmings complete the band: a buckle, a barrette and a smooth shield. It ends with two brass rings. It features a large knob decorated with a star to attach the Banderole de porte - mousqueton.
Length without rings 830 mm , width 63 mm; total length of the banderole 1040 mm.
In good condition with minor repairs.
Dimensions of the box: 180 by 67 mm width 50 mm.
