DESCRIPTION : Beautiful two-door Napoleon III period piece of furniture in brass boulle marquetry on ebony veneer.
Important marquetry with figures, foliage, scrolls and interlacing motifs on the doors, pediment and rounded sides.
Very fine ornamentation of gilded bronzes with high and low falls, central motifs on the sides framed by spandrels and flat moldings, moldings on the doors and around the cabinet.
Mahogany interior with two shelves. Top in white Carrara marble.
The bronzes are all signed by the Auguste Delafontaine foundry (AD).
