DESCRIPTION: Beautiful flat desk with zippers from the Napoleon III period. Full walnut veneer. Important ornamentation of gilded bronzes with ingot molds, patterns on the sides and spandrels, keyholes, sabots, asparagus. The feet are fluted with brass, which gives it great finesse and elegance. 5 belt drawers (one double, two independent and the central drawer). The other side is treated as a trompe l'oeil, to be able to position it in the middle of a room, with 5 fake drawers. Very pretty Louis XVI style model. Black coating with small iron gilding (florets, braid and central motif). DIMENSIONS: Length 1m30 (and two zippers of 35cm each, i.e. 2.00m deployed), width 70 cm.
