Boulle Marquetry Office
A small and elegant desk in blackened wood, in Boulle marquetry of red tortoiseshell and brass. This desk opens to reveal a wide drawer. It rests on four cabriole legs. It features a wealth of gilt bronze mounts, notably the heads of figures on the front and on the uprights. A frieze surrounds the drawer and the top, which is covered in black leather.
