"Late 19th Century Desk-console"
Small walnut desk from the Napoleon III period. The baluster feet are turned at the top, sheathed and fluted in the center and end in a spinning top. The whole is assembled with a connecting die by a fretted and molded H-shaped spacer. The belt includes on each side in its center a stylized rosette, dressed in a palm motif of Egyptian inspiration, all framed by a molding. The set is enhanced with stylized diamond points at the corners. The top consists of a low grooved molding and is juxtaposed on a corbain beak. The bronze handle with plant decoration reveals a large drawer. This desk combines great functionality, small proportions and finesse. Delivery possible, not included in the purchase price.
