DESCRIPTION: An impressive 2-door console table featuring Boulle marquetry of tortoiseshell and brass, with rich ornamentation of gilded bronze elements such as: multiple ingot holders, spandrels framing the doors, upper and lower friezes featuring Atlantean motifs, a mask of Neptune on the doors, and corners and sides adorned with masks and spandrels. Rich marquetry featuring scrollwork, volutes, and interlaced patterns. Base with carved plinth; top in Belgian black marble.
