Structure in fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Polyurethane foam tubes covered in soft black leather provide excellent seating comfort. 360-degree swivel base. This example is an original piece from the first generation, manufactured by Comfort in Meda, Italy.
In the 1960s, Italian manufacturer Comfort, based in Meda near Milan, produced several of Joe Colombo's creations, including the Elda and Supercomfort plastic lounge chairs. Later, from 2007 onwards, the Fratelli Longhi company continued the Comfort tradition and produced Colombo's Elda and Astrea lounge chairs (both designed in 1963).Dimensions:
