Thick crystal champagne bucket ( 7, 13 Kg) transparent hot-modeled with stretching.
Made by Antonio and/or Guido Bon at the Val Saint Lambert crystal works in Belgium circa 1950/1960.
Perfect condition; shows very fine superficial wear consistent with its age (70 years) see last photo.Minimal!
Signed at the point under the Val Saint Lambert piece, also bears the Val Saint Lambert label,

Biography:
Antonio and Guido Bon are two Italian designers active in the 1950s-60s. They worked in the field of furniture and decorative objects, collaborating with several European houses. In the 1960s, they created a number of pieces for the Val Saint Lambert crystal glassworks, including this vase. Their work is marked by simple forms, clear lines and attention to function. Their creations are sought after today by collectors of twentieth-century design.
