The best-known is "La déesse de la Paix" (The Goddess of Peace) in 1950. His style was very Art Deco until the 1950s, when he gradually moved towards abstraction. His works in general, he felt, evoked an invisible presence that transcended human beings and embodied the religious theme of "divine revelation".
