A kneeling young woman appears to be in a mocking mood. Bronze with brown patina shaded with antique green - With paulownia presentation box. Signed with the monogram "B". -- Son of a sculptor. He studied modeling in Tokyo with Fumio Watanabe from 1928. In 1931, he entered the Kozosha Sculpture Research Institute. In 1939, and was selected for the Shinbunten (Revival Exhibition) with a female subject - From 1942 he worked for the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Sports Museum. In 1944 he changed his first name => "Bido". He belonged to the Japan Ceramic Sculpture Association, founded in 1951. In 1953, he became a member of Nikikai (Fine Arts Academy).
