Locré Factory Porcelain Plate Paris Late 18th Century
Paris porcelain plate by Locré manufacture made in the late XVIIIᵉ century - early XIXᵉ century. It is hand-decorated with a delicate sowing of small polychrome flowers and a richly decorated border of mauve medallions, pink garlands and gold fillet. This type of fine, airy decoration is characteristic of Parisian production of this period.
Diameter - 23.5 cm.
The plate shows some traces of use: minor wear to the decoration, slight localized weathering, visible in the photos. No cracks.
The underside bears the blue painted markings typical of Locré circa 1785-1810.
