Chased olive, palmettes, with two vertical rows of diamond points; rivure button. Joint arch chased with stylized fleur-de-lys and faceted pearls, with control and silver hallmarks. Chased curved quillon; jointing arch decorated with a frieze.
Two pontats with openwork decoration of stylized fleurs-de-lis, faceted pearls and spider webs and hallmarks. Pas-d'âne with curved branches. Silver filigree spindle with alternating chain and single thread.
Three-sided convex blade, blued throughout, with gold decoration on the first third; signed Coulaux Frères,
Blackened parchment belt with two punched silver fittings. Long chape, engraved with spider webs and friezes, the back is marked Manufacture de Versailles Boutet Directeur Artiste, with control and silver hallmarks; the button is engraved with foliage. Silver, line-engraved and hallmarked bolt.
Very good condition.
