HIRA TSUKURI blade, MOKUME HADA, with SANBON SUJI yakiba.
Funa Gata (boat hull) type nakago.
Silver Higo-habaki.
Aikushi mount (koshirae).
Wooden tsuka, covered with red leaves dotted with gold on a black lacquer background. Screw mekugi, in chiseled silver in the shape of a plum blossom. A finely chiseled silver decoration, forming fushi and kashira, representing plum blossoms with gold centers and branches.
Black lacquered wooden scabbard (saya) dotted with gold flowers and butterflies; a chiseled silver decoration, matching the tsuka, forms a tree bark pattern at the koiguchi and long foliage at the kojiri.
Silver kosuka decorated with plum blossoms in keeping with the tsuka; steel kogatana with engraved decoration.
A rare piece in very good condition.
