Very good condition, usable today. Complete with a geographical dictionary, as a supplement to the 1st volume. This supplement has been damaged over time, and restored.
The period leather binding is in fairly good condition, the corners a little worn, and some attacks by xylophagous insects. The leather is decorated with darker "stains", perhaps stencilled.
