Sellette Inlaid In The Louis XV- Louis XVI Transition Style, Small Pedestal Table, Marquetry, 19th Century
Charming little sellette in the Louis XV/Louis XVI transitional style in inlaid wood.
Resting on three arched legs covered with bronze sabots and linked by a small crotch shelf, our sellette has a circular top finely inlaid with plant and insect decoration.
The belt is also inlaid all around and is embellished with a drawer.
Very light and therefore easy to move.
As a whole in good condition. We would like to point out a few old rings (probably caused by watering a plant) which are discreet and do not affect the aesthetics of the marquetry (see last photo).
