The marquetry-crafted base, attributed to Vivai del Sud (though unstamped), along with the symmetry of the design, make this piece a superb decorative object.
Whether used as a plant stand or a base for a sculpture, this dark bamboo piece offers an elegant texture enhanced by a patina characteristic of the Mid-Century style.
