Pierre-VictorLedure (Paris 1783-1840), merchant-manufacturer of bronzes and clocks. His workshop is listedbetween 1813 and 1840 on rue Neuve-des-Petits-Champs, then rue Vivienne and finally rued'Angoulême. He supplied the Garde-Meuble royal and was awarded a silver medalat an exhibition of industrial products.
ClaudeHémon (1770-1820) was a master watchmaker who ran his workshop on therue Saint-Martin from 1812 to 1820. His movements are known to have been usedused by the great bronziers of his time, such as Pierre-Philippe Thomire orPierre-Victor Ledure.
