Imposing Long Necklace Of Large Faceted Chrysoprase Beads And Vintage Gold-plated Metal
Long, imposing necklace in natural, vintage Australian chrysoprase from the second half of the 20th century, 1960s-1970s, composed of large, faceted spherical beads approx. 1.3cm in diameter, beautiful apple-green hue shaded with slightly cloudy effects. Mounted on green-tinted cotton thread with knots between each bead, it is completed by a gilded metal screw clasp set with rhinestones. This is a fine quality piece of costume jewelry, with wire reinforcement at the clasp.
Total length 92cm. Good overall condition with traces of use, slight internal crystallization visible on some pearls, wire and some knots show wear, I recommend rethreading. Approx. 235gr.
