"Fazzoletto Vase In Italian Blown Glass, Yellow-lined Opaline, Murano 1960-70"
A very elegant free-form blown glass vase known as a "Fazzoletto" (handkerchief). The glass is double-layered, with a white opaline interior and a slightly orange-yellow exterior, created using the incamiciato technique, resulting in a beautiful, deep color. This vintage Italian glass piece dates from the 1960s-1970s and was produced in Murano in the style of Fulvio Bianconi's designs. The base is hand-cut and polished. A few air bubbles are present within the glass, characteristic of mouth-blown glass. Maximum height 15.5 cm, minimum height 13.5 cm, maximum diameter 18 cm. In very good overall condition, with no chips or cracks. There are a few discreet, superficial scratches at the base, consistent with use. Approximately 800g.
