Sommerso Pitcher Vase Att. Flavio Poli, Murano 1960-1970
Elegant Sommerso pitcher vase, Murano glass, attributed to Flavio Poli, vintage 1960s-1970s. The design features a red core enveloped in a light blue halo, within a thick layer of clear glass. It has a lovely slender silhouette with a tapered spout and applied handle. Unsigned, as these pieces were generally sold with a paper label. Height 16.5 cm, maximum width 9.5 cm including the handle, thickness approximately 5 cm. In good overall condition, with no cracks or chips. However, there are a few fine scratches from use, a slight internal deposit, and some small visible grains within the glass, which may be due to old deposits or the manufacturing process. Approximately 600-650 grams.
