Empire-style Bouillotte Lamp In Bronze With Painted Shade – 20th Century

Elegant bouillotte lamp in bronze, 20th century, designed in the taste of early 19th-century Empire style.

The finely cast base features confronted dolphins, a motif emblematic of the neoclassical repertoire. The two light arms are well-balanced, forming a harmonious composition typical of traditional bouillotte models.

The adjustable tole shade is hand-painted with delicate ribbon and foliate garland motifs inspired by the Louis XVI decorative vocabulary. Its deep green tone, enhanced with gilt lines, beautifully highlights the warmth of the bronze.

A refined and decorative piece, ideal for a desk, side table or console.
