An iconic object of the domestic and rural world, the demijohn is here reinterpreted with a particularly expressive formal freedom. The body, seemingly collapsed and stretched to one side, disrupts the traditional balance of the form, giving rise to an unexpected, almost organic silhouette.

Far from being a simple flaw, this transformation appears fully integrated into the reading of the piece. The glass, still in motion at the time of the intervention, has retained the memory of the gesture, creating tensions and fluid lines that capture the light in a distinctive way.

This alteration gives birth to an object with a strong presence, oscillating between utilitarian artefact and contemporary sculpture.
