This fabulous silver Madonna and Child wasprobably made in Peru in the late 18th or early 19th century.century. It is presented in a flat-bottomed bowl, itself set on a round baseoblong base decorated and adorned with two bells. The Virgin and Child are solid cast, with an aurora behind their heads. Itsweight is 625 grams.
