Nevers Flowerpot - 18th Century
Nevers cachepot - 18th century. Nevers faience cachepot or orange tree vase decorated in blue monochrome with a landscape of a factory/smoking houses, with mascaron-shaped handles on the sides. It rests on a wide, flat foot. The whole piece is octagonal in shape. In used condition, it has undergone numerous repairs (filling of missing pieces, concealing cracks, repainting of the interior). Some chips and signs of wear remain (see last 4 photos). The object remains decorative and interesting from an iconographic point of view. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more photos.
