Epinal plate with a rooster on a fence - Late 18th century. A grand feu plate with eight lobes, a characteristic Epinal decoration. Decorated with a rooster on a fence resting on a grassy mound. The rim is decorated with three bouquets. This plate is reproduced in the reference book. Perfect condition. No repairs. Intact except for a small chip visible from the back and a loss of glaze on one flower on the rim. Diameter 22.5 cm
