12 Plates "faience De Sarreguemine" - Late 19th Century
12 plates made by the “Faience de Sarreguemines” factory,
the factory obtained a gold medal in the competition for the exhibition of industrial products in 1802,
for the development of a pulverization process intended to imitate the shades of precious stones and marbles.
Napoleon I was one of the best customers and commissioned polished stoneware vases and candelabras to decorate his imperial palaces.
The plates were made at the end of the 19th century and are in excellent condition.
