Louis XV Mirror In Gilt Wood – 18th Century
Refined Louis XV mirror from the 18th century, made of finely carved wood and gilt with gold leaf, of Italian manufacture.
The frame is richly carved and features a shaped crest and a decorated lower apron, typical of 18th-century taste.
The mirror retains its original mercury glass, with characteristic period deterioration, as well as original glass inserts, elements of particular interest.
In very good overall condition, consistent with its age; a conservative restoration is recommended.
An object of great charm and decorative value, ideal for period interiors or collections of 18th-century mirrors.
