Waly Plate with Imperial Eagle - Early 19th Century. Polychrome earthenware plate from Waly dating from the early 19th century, depicting a crowned eagle perched on a thunderbolt. Traces of pernettes (small, flat pieces) on the back. Blue rim typical of this factory. Good condition. Note a repaired chip at 9 o'clock and 7 o'clock. A few small chips in the glaze remain. No cracks. Diameter 23 cm
