Old Paris. Pair of octagonal porcelain vases, decorated with polychrome chinoiserie motifs highlighted in gold. The front of one vase depicts an archer, and the other a dancer, both surrounded by a fantastical floral landscape. The backs of both vases are similar, representing a pagoda in a fantastical landscape painted in gold. The gold decoration on the back of the vase with the dancer is slightly worn. H 23 cm, W 24 cm, D 14 cm. Condition: perfect. 19th century
