Mid-19th Century Napoleon III Planter In Fine Wood And Gilt Bronze
Elegant inlaid flowerpot, veneered in rosewood and other fine woods. Rectangular in shape, it features rounded sides decorated with refined geometric inlays. The four corners are adorned with gilded bronze plant elements. On one of the long sides, in the center, is a Sèvres porcelain plaque decorated with a bouquet of flowers, while on the other side is a refined geometric composition. Inside, a galvanized tray is surrounded by a cast and chased iron gallery. French manufacture, from the Napoleon III period, around the mid-19th century.
