Élégante horloge à colonne en bois laqué et peint. Laquée aigue-marine, elle est ornée de motifs végétaux et géométriques, rappelant le style « grotesque » et lui conférant une élégance discrète. Sa structure est composée d'une tige simple et élancée et d'un boîtier vitré, s'ouvrant par l'avant par une petite porte. À l'intérieur, l'horloge est dotée d'un mécanisme fonctionnel, avec un cadran à chiffres romains orné de motifs végétaux. Le boîtier, contenant le pendule et deux poids, s'ouvre également par le milieu. Le socle, peint pour imiter le marbre, s'ouvre également comme une porte. Cette horloge de belle facture s'intègre harmonieusement dans tous les espaces. Fabrication française, début du 19ème siècle.
