Early 19th Century Silver Crucifix

Exquisite hammered silver crucifix mounted on a pink velvet-covered stand. The crucifix features a sunburst pattern around the cross at the top, the inscription INRI, and a skull at the bottom. Christ is depicted in mourning, with an attached external halo. This is a tasteful and unique object, capable of furnishing any space with refinement and a touch of antiquity. Neapolitan manufacture (Southern Italy) from the early 19th century.
