An elegant Murano pedestal bowl, crafted circa 1900, in richly toned ruby glass of beautiful depth.

The flared body is adorned with a finely executed gilt decoration in the classical taste, depicting draped figures set within a stylised landscape. One figure holds a lyre, evoking a musical scene inspired by Greco-Roman mythology in a refined Neo-classical spirit. The composition unfolds as a continuous frieze, framed by delicately rendered scrolls and ornamental motifs.

The baluster stem, accented by a central knop, rests on a circular foot subtly enhanced with a dotted gilt decoration, reflecting the care given to every detail.
