Large ebony-veneered jewelry box, inlaid with brass stringing and scrolls (Boulle marquetry), with a molded edge and the interior lined with green moiré silk. The lid is adorned with a cartouche engraved with the monogram OML beneath a Count's coronet, as well as the motto Deo et Patriae. A beautiful luxury piece from the 19th century (1840s-50s), reflecting the refined lifestyle of the aristocracy at that time. Our box has been restored, French polished, cleaned, and repolished by our cabinetmaker. It is in very good condition. Length: 34 cm Width: 23.8 cm Height: 16 cm
