A rare silver reliquary containing a relic of the Virgin Mary protected under beveled glass. The fragment is affixed to a red fabric background surrounded by gilt paper. Below, a handwritten label in Latin reads “Vel. BMV” for “Velo Beatae Mariae Virginis,” meaning “Veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary.” On the back, the piece is still sealed with red wax bearing an unidentified ecclesiastical seal, guaranteeing the relic's integrity.
