Pieta in polychrome wood The Virgin Mary holds Christ on her knees.
The face of the Virgin is framed by a veil draped over her shoulders and held back by a button.
Her red dress, a color that synbolizes the passion of Christ, is belted.
She is covered with a dark coat. The long-haired Christ has a hand resting on one knee.
The other arm in the void as a sign of abandonment. This scuplture should certainly be suspended because we notice on the back the location of a clip (see picture of the back)
A visible slot does not require restoration, ditto for the periphery of the base.
It is missing the tip of the feet of Christ (see photo) I can provide other photos if needed.
