High-ranking officer's cavalry plume made of white heron feathers.
Mounted on whalebone, with a fixed olive-shaped finial of silver-plated (oxidized) wire at the bottom.
A scarlet rooster feather is then attached, secured by a small bone ring at the bottom.

Visible whalebone section: 10.5 cm.

Scarlet feathers: 6 cm.
