KARD KNIFE WITH SHEATH, OTTOMAN TURKEY

Steel, silver, and horn
Total length: 30 cm (without sheath) - Blade length: 20 cm
Single-edged iron blade, engraved with a dotted pattern, with some remnants of silver damascening.
Silver guard.
The handle features two wooden plates, covered with bone plates with lugs, the whole riveted and adorned with silver scrolls.
Wooden scabbard, encased in a silver scabbard, engraved in three registers, nielloed, and dated 1805. Thick, richly chased silver pommel and ferrule. Loop for a belt.
Very good condition, except for some oxidation on the blade.
