English imported blade specially produced for the Ethiopian market. Manufacturer's mark on the blade "manufactured by Mr S. Harrison, Imperial Furnisher". The blade is acid-etched with arabesques on both sides, and a text in the Ge'ez alphabet (which I unfortunately do not have the translation). Saber having retained its original scabbard and belt, both in animal skin. The guard has play. Accident at the tip of the scabbard. Oxidation to the steel of the blade.
