French Trench Dagger - France, World War I (WWI). Handcrafted trench weapon. Fine workmanship. Reused Lebel bayonet blade (Rosalie). Scabbard made from a shortened Lebel bayonet scabbard, fitted with an 8mm Lebel cartridge case and bullet. Bone handle. Brass and copper guard engraved with the dates 1914-1915, as well as the owner's name and rank "Lieutenant D. Hary" and "7th ???", most likely his regiment. In good condition. Weight 357g. Weight without scabbard 246g. Length 44.5cm. Length without scabbard 41cm. Blade length 28cm.
