Magnificent and rare large turned wood baluster-shaped lamp resting on a stepped square base, produced by the French company Le Dauphin, original label under the base, "Verdennes" model. Vintage 1970s. Beautiful light varnished wood highlighted with fine glossy black trim, a simple and elegant design enhanced by its imposing size. The piece illustrates the timeless style of Le Dauphin lighting, blending classical inspiration with the decorative aesthetic of the mid-20th century. Functional. Maximum height 62cm to the socket. Base 16x16cm and maximum diameter of the stem approximately 17-18cm. Original electrical cord with European plug and switch, 1.30m long. The lamp is in very good condition with some slight signs of use and minor wear on the wood and trim, discreet and consistent with its age. Approximately 200-2,500 kg.
