Regency Buffet in Solid Walnut – 18th Century. A beautiful regional buffet in solid walnut from the Regency period, 18th century. This piece opens with two molded doors on the front and rests on short, slightly cabriole legs. The front is enlivened by an elegant, deeply shaped lower rail, adorned in its center with a carved shell framed by scroll motifs, a characteristic decoration of the Regency style in southern furniture. The rounded uprights are highlighted with fluting, while the door panels feature beautiful moldings. The whole piece offers a balanced silhouette and a striking decorative presence. The interior, made of antique wood, is fitted with a shelf providing functional storage space. The walnut has a beautiful, warm, and deep patina. Regional furniture from the south of France.
